ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania — Access Point Technology today announced the promotion of Joe Bruffee to Chief Technology Officer, where he has been instrumental from the company’s earliest days in the design, development, and implementation of security solutions for the company and its key clients. His tenure shines with innovations such as data-loss prevention (DLP) systems, the architecture of anomaly-detection tools, machine learning and behavioral analytics modeling, and custom vulnerability management solutions. Mr. Bruffee has also served in a consulting capacity on numerous Access Point technology initiatives. In previous positions, he drove initiatives such as the deployment of PKI infrastructure, implementation of disaster recovery strategies and the development of privileged access management solutions.

Mr. Bruffee will join the executive leadership team at Access Point, overseeing technological initiatives, leading the development of customized technology solutions, and collaborating across departments to align process and technology with business objectives.

His ability to communicate technical knowledge both inside the company, and to customers and prospects has enabled him to successfully engage coalitions to build out comprehensive security, architecture, and technology programs.
