LEHIGH VALLEY, Pennsylvania — February 24, 2023 — Access Point Technology, an industry leader in cybersecurity consulting, is proud to announce the success of its latest Culture of Caring corporate philanthropy initiative. Powered by its employees, Culture of Caring is a quarterly giving campaign in which employees recommend charitable causes they wish to support. Of those recommendations, a select few are chosen for corporate sponsorship in the year ahead, rotating each quarter. To date, Access Point and its employees have donated over $30,000 to a variety of worthy causes.
For the first quarter of 2023, Access Point Technology focused its efforts on the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Student Visionaries of the Year program. The Students of the Year campaign is a philanthropic leadership development program through which highly motivated high school leaders embark on a journey of professional growth, ensuring that they stand out when preparing for college and beyond. During the program, students foster professional skills such as entrepreneurship, marketing, and project management in order to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Student leaders fundraise for LLS in honor of children who are blood cancer survivors. The title Student(s) of the Year is awarded to the candidate or co-candidate team in each community that raises the most funds during the seven-week competition.
Access Point sponsored Team Teens Tackle Cancer with a $5,000 corporate donation, followed by an additional $2,850 raised by employees. As a team, Access Point is thrilled to contribute $7,850 in total to the fight against blood cancer.
The success of Access Point Technology’s Culture of Caring campaign is due to the dedication and generosity of its employees who donated to this cause. Access Point remains committed to giving back to the community and supporting organizations like LLS that make a difference in people’s lives.
